Keyklix - Richard Bower and Ian GriffinIan Griffin met Richard Bower at a keyboard festival in 1985 when they sat at two different electronic organs and played a duet. They realised that they had the ability almost to read each others musical mind. In 1987 the duo made their first cassette album Introducing Keyklix and in 1989 broadcast on the BBC Radio 2 The Organist Entertains from a 'live' concert at a national organ festival.

Richard Bower The name "Keyklix" was derived from the term 'keyclick' given to the characteristic sound of the early tonewheel Hammond organs. In later versions of Hammond organs there was even a tab named "keyclick" to capture the old original sound. Ian and Richard's keyboard skill has "clicked" together in a big way and they have become Britain's most entertaining duo. Ian and Richard, both around the same age, look on each other as brothers they never had. The remarkable thing is that they never practice together as they live hundreds of miles apart.

Ian GriffinDue to their solo commitments their duo appearances are confined to special events, mainly organ and keyboard festivals.  However, to keep in touch Ian and Richard have accepted a limited number of engagements. Thus we were very lucky to have booked these two for appearances in February 2004 and May 2005. We have also managed to secure their services for September 2006.
