The People

ORLA Direct is headed by PAULE WISE who has over 32 years experience specifically in the Keyboard market, and has worked in all sectors of the industry:- manufacturing, wholesale and retail.

Assisting Paule are

PATRICIA WISE who is based at Elmswell where she assists her husband Paule as well as heading the teaching school. Pat has been an organ and keyboard tutor for over fifteen years and has first class knowledge of Orla products. It is her helpful and friendly voice that will more often than not greet you when you phone us at ORLA Direct.

PAUL CARMAN has worked in the industry since completing his education, both in retail and wholesale. Paul runs his own showroom, Hinckley Music Store. As well as running an Orla retail outlet in the Midlands, Paul is also available for concert and promotional events.

DAVE GUNN is a highly respected engineer in the industry with 30 years experience, particularly with Orla products. Dave has served as a consultant to other leading organ manufacturers in his time, and looks after service and spares for ORLA Direct.

TONY SWEENEY is responsible for administration and accounts at Elmswell. He is often found out and about assisting the team with both deliveries and promotions. This enables him to personally get to know the customers so that he is not just a voice on the telephone.


The Manufacturer

ORLA spa have been manufacturing keyboard products since 1962. They are Italy's' ONLY full line manufacturer producing: Home organs, Digital pianos, Keyboards, and Expanders. Indeed they are now the last remaining Italian company producing Home organs and are intent on continuing to serve this important "niche" market. During the course of 1995 ORLA invested heavily in a manufacturing plant on the east coast of Italy. This new factory uses the latest state of the art technology to produce products of a consistent standard. The continuing success of ORLA products in World markets has enabled this family run business to look to the future with confidence. It is their aim to develop their presence in Europe over a number of years in order that they become a major competitor in the keyboard industry here.
