Oleg Sharov Live in Eastbourne Volume 1 & 2 These two brand new Oleg Sharov CD's were recorded live at Eastbourne Accordion Festival in October 2009. They feature many highlights from Sharov's 3 concert appearances made across the weekend. Born in St. Petersburg, Russia, in 1946, Oleg Sharov studied the Bayan Accordion from the age of 8, later securing a place at the coveted “Rimsky Korsakov” Conservatory of Music in his home town. After completing 5 years of study, Sharov was appointed as a tutor at the Conservatory and currently holds the position of Senior Professor of Music and head of the accordion department. Oleg Sharov will be back in the UK October 2011 at the next Carillon Festivals Accordion Weekend in Folkestone - For more details see our Festival pages
