brett and audiencepaul_carmanI would personally like to thank everyone that attended our first festival, both guests and artists. It was everything that myself and Jackie had wished for and more! It was our desire to create a musical family atmosphere so that old acquaintances could be renewed and new friends made. Our thanks must also go to the staff at the Albany and St Helens hotels who bent over backwards to help wherever it was needed.  I must also thank everyone for their support of our charity "Winstons Wish" for which we collected the grand total of £262.50 for raffle tickets and donations.  All the Artists were on their top form although and several items especially stood out for me. Paul Carman (pictured top right) provided a stunning version of the 633 Squadron that made the Orla fly in a way I had not heard before. David Thomas had a go of my accordion during one of the jam sessions, believe me there are not many I would trust to do this! Chris Powell as well as playing beautifully kept us all in stitches during our late night bar sessions. As for John Dalley I have to say that musically our duet on the Monday morning (pictured lower right), just added the topping to one of the most enjoyable musical times of my life. Where do we go from here? Well I for one can't wait for September!

Below are a few of our favourite pictures from the February Festival for which our thanks go to Alan and Margaret at Organfax.
