| I would personally like to thank everyone that supported our first accordion festival. It was a weekend packed full of musical memories which I will not forget in a hurry. Highlights included listening to Charlie Watkins duet with Gennaro Fiondella. Seeing the speed of Paul Chamberlain (a major concert star in the making). Watching Sue Coppard’s face when I presented her with a Birthday bouquet. Having Harry Hussey join me in a great late night set.
Sunday topped it all off when we presented the six
accordions of Paul Chamberlain, Gennaro Fiondella, Harry Hussey, Myself, Trevani, and Charlie Watkins, in a selection of numbers that finished off with Charlie leading “Blaze Away”. I look forward to the next one, 18th - 21st February 2005 where Harry Hussey, George Syrett, Charlie Watkins and David Keen are just a few have already agreed to join us.
